The answer is yes and no.
You can make phone calls to BCM contacts, and any changes you make to phone numbers when you make calls are saved (so far so good).
However BCM prevents us storing the Skype ID on the contact (not so good), so for Skype-to-Skype calls it doesn't work.
For the same reason, you can't synchronize BCM contacts with Skype contacts.
